We are committed to putting our faith into action and making a difference in the world and being involved with the community around us.
Here are some ways we serve our community:
Setlamo (Employment Bureau)
Cool2Serve (Community Service Projects)
Counselling: We have the services of a highly qualified Counsellor - Pam Stanton
Humphreys – who is able to help you through a time of difficulty (depression, anxiety, post trauma stress, marital trouble, family mediation, etc) Contact Dawn on 011 706 6108 to make an appointment. If however you would prefer to speak to one of our ministers please email Dawn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prayer Chain: We have members willing to pray for you and/or your family. Contact Maude Londal on 011 026 4526. All prayer requests are handled sensitively and treated confidentially. Anyone is welcome to join the Prayer Chain. Anyone is welcome to phone in with their concerns.
Support Group: If you, or a loved one, have or has had a life-threatening illness, you're welcome to join us, whether you're male / female / older / younger. We'd love to meet you and help you through this difficult time.
Some of us are survivors, having fought the good fight and are now in remission;
Others of us are still in the fight of our lives and receiving treatment;
Some have just heard the life changing news and have no idea what to do or where to turn, wherever you're at, you're welcome to join us.
We meet on the last Saturday of each month at 8.45am for about an hour and a half to chat, catch up, have tea together, encourage one another.
